KRE-O Transformers are the brand new construction block toy from Hasbro. To start off this new line of toys they have released a range of the cool transformer characters.
The toys come as a basic building block set that you can use to build either the transformer or the vehicle that they transform into, so in the case of Optimus Prime you can either make him or the cool truck that he can transform into.
The three-in-one KRE-O TRANSFORMERS OPTIMUS PRIME construction set lets you bring the most popular transformer character to life like you never have before. You can build your OPTIMUS PRIME character in robot mode and then take him apart and use the same bricks to transform him into vehicle mode. Detach his truck cab from the trailer and it becomes a mini command center. With this great set, you also get five fully poseable KREON mini figures to accompany you on whatever adventures you can imagine.
The Kreon characters are similar to LEGO minifigures, and are about the same size. You can use them as drivers for the vehicles, or play with them on their own.
The overall design and construction once you build Optimus is in my opinion – amazing. As you’re building it you may think there are a lot of pieces that may not be needed, but once you start seeing it take shape, it all makes sense. So the design – awesome. There are a lot of moveable parts and overall the construction is very sturdy. You have to remember its not a toy to be played with roughly, so of course there are some parts that can come loose. I’m pretty sure its like that with all types of sets for build style toys, and this is no different. But, you can open the doors, swivel the trailer, open the trailer like the G1 toy, there is a steering wheel that moves, a stick shift for the truck and the wheels actually turn and the truck rolls. There are swivels for the arms, the head, it really is just awesome.
Every year there is a hot new toy released that kids go crazy for at Christmas, this year that toy is going to be the Kre-o Transformers.
